5 things you didn't know about me

Better late than never, right? Amy beat me to it, but Noor apparently got a 2-for-one deal on this bit of tagging.

1. I visited almost all the capitals of Europe before I ever went to NYC. During our trips, my friends and I never booked a single hotel or hostel room more than 3 days in advance. I still haven't been to California or Mexico.
   
2. I used to sort my skittles. Someone once gave me a three pound bag, and I sorted the whole thing (into sets with one of each color, then one of the remaining 4 colors, ....) before I ate any.
   
3. My best friend and I have only ever had one fight, over whether or not her favorite color was ever pink. We threw milk at each other. The next day, we didn't mention it. We've been best friends since 1987, and I wrote my college entrance essay about her.
   
4. People pay my mother for psychic readings. Apparently, she talks to spirit guides. She raised my sister and me backstage at the theater. She and my father are Republicans. I find this combination very strange.
   
5. I like the smell of damp basements, coffee, gasoline and cranberry body wash.
