What should I do with a 5-day weekend?

I have 3 days of leftover vacation from last year that I have to use or loose next week. I don't want to stick around here & I don't want to board the dog, which means that it has to be a driving tour.

Any suggestions? I'd rather go south, east or west and try not to drive more than 3-4 hours each day.
