43 Things I did in Argentina
In (sorta) order:
- Saw the Niagara on Viagra (aka Iguazu Falls).
 - Got rained on in a sub-tropic climate.
 - Hiked in the jungle.
 - Climbed a rock wall in the rain.
 - Discovered that I was covered in red mud.
 - Saw Paraguay & Brazil from a boat.
 - Ate tea for lunch.
 - Found out maps of Buenos Aires don't have a North.
 - Watched a bird poop on Olga.
 - Visited Recoletta Cemetery & found Evita's grave.
 - Spent a day at a HUGE street fair (at least 20 blocks) in San Telmo.
 - Bought stuff.
 - Met a German experiencing culture shock.
 - Visited a very strange art museum.
 - Went to a movie.
 - Got rained on in a city.
 - Caught a cold (aka Google Virus).
 - Landed in a crazy beautiful airport.
 - Went horseback riding at an estancia in El Calafate.
 - Failed to sleep in a super stuffy (but cute) hotel.
 - Stopped at a hotel where Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid once holed up.
 - Drank throat healing Patagonian tea (con miel y limon).
 - Climbed a mountain & saw the lovely Fitz Roy on my birthday.
 - Celebrated with a bday dinner of pumpkin soup (thanks, Olga!) and half a brownie.
 - Got rained on in a sub-arctic climate.
 - Wasted a day.
 - Snuck into a Flamingo park.
 - Saw todos los glaciares!!!!
 - Found out my grandma had passed away over email.
 - Got stuck in a crazy beautiful airport for 3 hours.
 - Made it to the end of the world (Ushuaia).
 - Called my mom.
 - Visited the most bizarre museum in the world. Saw large statues of former prisoners and and former prison wing filled with community art projects.
 - Visited los penguinos on a small island. Got to be the first to stand next to one on our tour.
 - Made fun of the people who took the boat tour & couldn't get on the island. Ruined their pictures by standing in their photos.
 - Saw sea lions on a boat tour. Hopped on bouncy flora & fauna.
 - Climbed a mountain to see a glacier, only to discover that we needed snow shoes to make the final assent.
 - Felt intimidated by the Ski Magazine guys who were climbing with their equipment to ski down, and walking much faster than Olga and me.
 - Saw the mountains of Chili across the bay.
 - Got a haircut in Buenos Aires from someone who did not speak English.
 - Went to a grunge tango concert.
 - Visited La Boca.
 - Got a lesson in Argentinean expressions from the front desk guy at our posada.

Sorry to hear (read) about your Grandma. I lost two grandparents while abroad. It's pretty bad.
