Michigan
It's my home. And I love it.
Do you have to love it?
No.
But you don't need to feel superior about not loving it.
And you don't have to live here (in fact, if you actively dislike it, you probably shouldn't). No one is making you stay.
Calm. Down.
It'll be okay.

Someone bitching about Michigan. I get really annoyed by people from the coasts who come here for college and then complain about how "backward" we all are. It's bad guest behavior.
Especially when one of your examples of the suckiness of midwesterns involves them complaining about life on one of the coasts. Irony, anyone?
Feew! I somehow thought it envolved, eh, me... My blow torch is still in the shop after my last flame war....
The best part about those kind of people is that they always leave Michigan sooner or later. Even better, they are forced into contributing to Michigan, whether they like it or not. There is a reason we house one of the best universitys in the nation...
If said person continues to be a pain, send 'em my way and I'll reduce them to a caldera once my blow torch returns...
Why would it involve you?
Because I was teasing you in your last post. I thought you were taking it personally. My teasing is always in jest. Oh, and I've been accused by others in the past of being narcissistic.
I came to MI for the college and that's it. I don't have to like the state or even the people living in here. I am actually glad the 2 years are over.
